The 2010 vintage - fresh, full of fruit but very low in quantity!

After a cold winter and wet weather in March and April, budding followed at the beginning of May. Three weeks of cold and inclement weather at the end of May and the beginning of June meant very damp blossom. There was sufficient rain in the months of June and July to promote the growth of the grapes hanging in loose bunches. The weather was playing all kinds of tricks in September, so we had to start picking earlier than expected in the middle of September. Despite the low yields, the golden sunshine in October had a very positive effect on the quality of the grapes, which is far more important for us. Our first tastings show that this will be a vintage with enormous fruit and great minerality. I am very excited about the quality of this vintage - whether it is pinot or Riesling.

At the same time I should like to point out that we expect to run out of stocks of some wines earlier than usual, but we will do our best!

With best regards
